Neuroinformatics 2014 in Leiden

NeuroInformatics.NL is hosting the 2014 INCF Neuroinformatics Congress.
The venue will be the Kamerlingh Onnes Gebouw in Leiden, twenty minutes from Schiphol airport.

Poster prize Neuroinformatics Congress 2013

NeuroInformatics.NL will be hosting the 2014 neuroinformatics congress in Leiden.
This year the same congress is in Stockholm, August 27-29, and we'd like to stimulate the participation of Dutch researchers by issuing a small poster prize: you get a free banquet ticket (value 50 euro) if you are among the first 6 submitted posters/demos (measured by INCF confirmation email). The deadline for submitting posters/demos is April 29th. The additional rules are:
. presenting author must be a master student, PhD or postdoc and have a primary affiliation in The Netherlands

This five day event is aimed at both early stage (PhD) and experienced neuroscientists (postdocs, PIs) working in fields related to brain imaging or using brain imaging techniques (...)

Human Brain Project one of the winning FET Flagship Programmes

Today vice-president of the European Commission Neelie Smit Kroes officially announced the two winning FET Flagship Programmes, that will be awarded up to 1 billion euros (half of which from matching funds) over a ten year period.
The winners are GRAPHENE and the Human Brain Project (HPB).

INCF $10,000 Data Sharing Award

The award will go to the best quality data set that is shared through the INCF data space between now and May 1st, 2013.
